“ Can you say you've had ice cream in MA if you haven't been here? This place always has a line pouring out, especially in the warmer months. Sometimes they have unique seasonal flavors to try if you're feeling adventurous as well during May in coronation with the annual steampunk festival they had a special ice cream sundae! This was super tasty and adorned with chocolate gears. On the flipside, I was also intrigued by their mango tajine creation. I made a mistake with the flavor palette. I did not enjoy this as much as I'd hoped but I think I still finished it during other times I've tried their basic flavor such as meant and have enjoyed it. The chocolate bananas covered in nuts are also a solid option. Inside they have limited seating just given that they are downtown on Moody Street. Usually, they have tables outside set up during summer if the outdoor dining option is available. Overall, I've always enjoyed this place, but I wouldn't say they have the most memorable flavors. ”
“ Lizzy's is perfect and consistent--- the ice cream is always high quality and prices are reasonable for the portion size. You cannot go wrong with any flavor, and I'd highly recommend checking out the seasonal flavors! During our most recent visit, I went for the classic Chocolate flavor (was wowed!) and my girlfriend went for the seasonal Apple Pie flavor. It was so delicious-- reminded me of having Apple Pie with Vanilla ice cream during Thanksgiving, except 10x better. A really solid place for ice cream in the Greater Boston area. ”
“ They have fantastic peppermint stick ice cream for the holidays !! I love all there ice cram flavors but I really look forward to the peppermint stick a the holidays! ”
“ Most important: We got an ice cream cake from them (for a wedding): it was ready when promised, and everyone enjoyed it. So, why not 5 stars? We called and placed the order, and it was repeated back to us; however, since a cake is complicated (2 ice creams, filling, etc.) I also emailed the order to them, and they acknowledged recveiving the email. Yet, when I went to pick up the cake, one of the names was misspelled; they were able to fix it on the spot, but still...(?) ALSO,the order specified which ice cream flavor was on top and which was on bottom, but these were exactly reversed. Luckily this couple didn't think it was important, but sometimes people are very specific about cakes, especially for their wedding, so again I have to say "still...(?)" ”
“ Good soup: If the owner/manager is listening - please crank those freezers. I would love to give Lizzy's a full five star review for the taste alone, but I can't (at least right now). The ice cream was incredibly tasty and the shop was really cute, but the ice cream itself was too soupy to stay on the cone. The first ice cream we ordered melted before it reached our hands. The scooper asked if we wanted a cup and planted the ice cream scoop side down. The cup quickly filled with soupy ice cream before we reached the table. We decided to pull out the big guns for the second ice cream and went with a waffle cone, which started out strong. A few minutes in disaster struck and the cone split in half, sparing my shirt but leaving me coneless. Great ice cream and lots of laughs - just needs to be frozen ”
“ Popular ice cream spot - first visit it was later in the evening 9pm Small waiting line - employees appeared busy. Plenty of happy faces sitting enjoying their cold treats of ice cream I don't often order a Sundae, this was that rare occasion. I ordered a grape-nut ice cream Sundae with chocolate fudge topping and this did not disappointment They offer small, medium and large portions Below is a medium- a small would be enough Go pay them a visit. I am positive that you will come back again .... ”
“ Great massive selection and ice cream. Personally go with the coconut which is always great. ”
“ The place in Waltham is a hidden gem with a ton of fantastic flavors and real dairy free ice cream that doesn't have a negative reaction on my daughter. Staff is friendly and portions are generous. ”
“ Some of the best dairy-free and vegan ice cream I've had. Really great chocolate and the oreo flavors. A little $$$ but worth it... ”
